  1. L-150(1) Copy Wanting the blank leaves [l9-10]. Binding: Eighteenth-century (c.1790) red crushed morocco; bound for the Bodleian Library by H. Walther, whose ticket is on the verso of the front endleaf; gold-tooled turn-ins, marbled pastedowns, gilt-edged leaves; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers. Size: 345 × 238 × 36 mm. Size of leaf: 332 × 220 mm. Bibliographical note in French in an eighteenth-century(?) hand attached to the recto of the back endleaf. On [a3r] a six-line initial ‘B' is supplied in blue decorated with white on a gold ground, with foliate decoration within the body of the letter in green, white, and red, and with foliate extensions into the margins in red, blue, green, and brown, and with gold dots. Other two-line initials, some with pen-work decoration and extensions in red, are supplied in red or blue; paragraph marks are supplied in red; some capital strokes in red or blue. Provenance: Pietro-Antonio Bolongaro-Crevenna (1735-1792); sale (1789), part III lot 3982; in the annotated catalogue marked down to Payne for Fl. 530.
