Inscribed on front free end paper "B.F. Westcott d.d F.W.F[arrar]." Tipped in at the end is a letter from Farrar dated 29 March 1870 presenting the book. Bought from Deval & Muir of Takeley, Bishop's Stortford, April 1974. Decoration: The first initial illuminated with colouring in red, brown, blue, yellow and green. Other initials supplied in red.
