Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled blue morocco.

Some initials are supplied in ink; running headings in ink throughout.
Provenance: Edmund Waterton (1830-1887); on the front endleaf a deleted note, followed by inscription: ‘Edmd. Waterton. Walton Hall. 1854'.
