  1. B-333(1) Copy Gatherings [L]–[tt] only (Prv–Apc). Binding: Sixteenth-century blind-tooled German pigskin over wooden boards; two clasps lost. On both covers fillets form three concentric frames. In the inner rectangle an ornamental centre-piece and corner-pieces; in the frames two different floral rolls and a cresting roll. Size: 410 × 295 × 95 mm. Size of leaf: 388 × 280 mm. Principal initials are supplied in interlocked red and blue with pen-flourishing in red and blue; other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue; red capital strokes and underlining. Provenance: Cologne, Jesuits; on [L1r] an inscription: ‘Collegii Soc. Jesu Coloniae 1745'. Duplicate from the Royal Library, Munich; old shelfmark ‘Inc.s.a. 195', stamp and duplicate stamp. Collation note on front pastedown signed F[idelis] Bu[tsch] and dated 1857; Fidelis Butsch, Catalogue (1858), no. 30.
